Interpreting Industry Experts Meet in Boston
October 2009 - Choice Translating team flies to Boston, MA for annual International Medical Interpreters Association (IMIA) Conference. The theme this year was "Global Perspectives on Professional Medical Interpreters" and offered the latest trends in our industry from around the world. Michelle Menard and Brandi Wyant also toured the interpreting services departments at Boston Medical Center and Cambridge Health Alliance for a behind-the-scenes look at how they provide language services to their significant LEP population. Michelle also attended a pre-session with Bruce L. Adelson, esq on "Title VI and Language Access."
